Read-a-thon mini challenge: Quote a favorite book

N.Vasillis has posted an Hour 4 mini challenge for the Read-a-thon. Here's my post.

"I looked around. They were standing. All around us, and in the balcony on the opposite wall, the Negroes were getting to their feet. Rev. Sykes's voice was as distant as Judge Taylor's.

'Miss Jean Louise, stand up. Your father's passin.' "

From one of my favorite scenes in To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.

I love the name of your blog. My TBR pile feels like a mountain too. The Uncommon Reader Sounds like a book I will have to add to my "books I discovered in the read-a-thon" collage :D
